We do not want Palos Park in the middle of Lemont. Please keep Lemont in Lemont. We are a small tight-knit community. Please do not tear us apart acre by acre.

This is actually something that Palos doesn't want - are they really prepared to offer police services that far away from their station? and who would want to live there relying on them to provide it? makes no sense.

This annexation is counter intuitive.
This additional population burden on the school system and facilities will require additional financial outlays while losing economy generators to Palos. This should be of the highest priority to keep this land in Lemont, tax revenue in Lemont, signature business in Lemont.

Lemont is such a wonderful, beautiful little town - does NOT need to be swallowed up by Palos Park!! Please don't allow this annexation. My close friends moved there from Chicago, we'd love to be able to live there, too: in Lemont, not Palos Park.

Please encourage your friends and neighbors to join this effort to stop Palos Park! Contact the Cook County Commisioners and tell them that you want them to not let Palos annex the property!

This is land grab by Palos Park that will adversely affect citizens of Lemont. For once I beg cook county officials to do what is right and vote in the best interest of the community that there vote will affect.

My biggest concern is what this will do to our our already struggling and overcrowded schools if the land is developed in the manner indicated. Please think about the impact to the children in the area.
