The city officials continue to ignore our emails but I am still drafting the proposal for a designated site. It is exhausting to keep fighting for something that seems so simple to me. I keep reading your comments because they remind me why this matters.

Reaching this point has been a long grind and honestly I am exhausted by the pushback we keep facing. Seeing this many people agree that we deserve a sanctioned space makes the battle feel worth the effort. We are not turning back now.

Finally someone said it. It is way safer to have a fire pit set up than kids just dragging old sofas into the middle of the road. Let us have some fun.

I mean honestly why not. It is just furniture. Nobody is getting hurt if it is done in a controlled area.
it is a tradition. stop trying to ruin the college experience for everyone.
This would actually keep the streets cleaner. The city needs to stop being so uptight and let us have a designated spot for the festivities.

Waste of time. People are just gonna do what they want anyway so might as well make it legal.
