Ban Lee Hughes from football

Premiership footballer Lee Hughes was jailed for six years in 2004 for causing death by dangerous driving. The then 28-year-old West Bromwich Albion striker had denied causing the death of father-of-four Douglas Graham in Meriden, near Coventry, in November of 2003. Mr Graham, 56, died after Hughes' £100,000 Mercedes car ploughed into the Renault in which he was a passenger. Lee Hughes fled the scene of the accident whilst the passengers in the other car were trapped, badly injured and in dire need of help. Lee Hughes looks set to leave prison this August after completing less than half of his sentance. Oldham Athletic are set to give him a full contract upon release. This petition is a protest by real football fans from all clubs who believe that Lee Hughes is unfit to be a sporting role model and that he should banned for life from the football league
