Although I went to Curry High School, some of my dearest friends went to Walker. Walker High School is very much a part of Jasper tradition. We all know Walker county ... So what if someone wanted to change our county to Jasper. Please find better things to do in Jasper than changing the name of our generational high schools!

Changing the name will not make it any better. All this shows is that Ms. Jackson, Thornley, and others on the school board "can do" in secret and make the alumni, and most of the town angry and upset.
