There needs to be a voice rise up from the WALKER family who oppose this name change! If we forget our past our future becomes distorted! The community needs to raise our disdain and go from there!

I do not agree with the name change of the high school. My son goes to Jasper city schools and will be going to Walker High School. I feel this is a community decision that should have been voted on since our taxes helped to pay for the school to be built rather than 5 people in a closed room.

Walker High should remain the same name. If any decision to change the name of the high school, it should have been voted on by the people of Jasper.
