My son, myself, my dad, HIS dad. All went to Walker High School so I feel as if I have a voice. I have a niece and nephew both headed there in the not too distant future. A new high school MAY have been necessary, but a name change will do more harm than good. Let the people decide!

Think about the two soldiers that has passed fighting the war.Picture is in the office.Dustin Parrish and Richard Gilmore lll and pass legends that played sports at Walker.You are killing the tradition of being a Walker Viking.

So many things about Jasper have changed since I was a kid. Since my parents were kids. Since my grandparents were kids. One thing that we all have in common with our home town is our High School. This is true for so many families in this city! The legacy of Walker should continue with the next generation and so on and so forth. I know not only for me, but for many others we're happy to say, "I'm proud to be a #WalkerViking!"
