What is the reason to change? "Walker" is part of our dna and identity. Leave well enough alone. I'm proud to tell people I went to WCHS. My parents graduated from there as I did. Go Vikings.

I'm a 1993 graduate of WALKER High School. It saddens me to think that such a huge decision would be made without the input of our alumni & community. Proud to be a Walker Viking!!!!

Walker is part of our community. Don't take away the history of our school. The name Walker means something to a lot of people and to change it without a vote of the community is wrong.

I am saddened by this move. Walker High School has been around for many many years and has many proud alumni. It is a well known name throughout the state and various communities. I would guess if you poled the alumni group you would get a strong response to this name change. Sometimes tradition means something!!!!
