I have such a warm feeling knowing that Walker High School has remained strong. I can understand why it was necessary to drop "County" from the name, but not this change. I believe in progress, and in progression, but ask that you listen to the people, past and present before such a change is made.

Please leave the name as it is! I graduated from WALKER High School, along with numerous family members. My mother graduated from WALKER in 1938!
