No valid justification for the name change. We must hold fast to the past changing a name doesn't signify something new, it just signifies something meaningless and pointless. As a graduate and former teacher at Walker High school I'm appalled by the notion of a name change. My father, James McNealey was the first male African-American faculty member at WHS and that's significant. Don't wash away the history of progress.

Why change it? It has been Walker High for yrs. Let the ppl of jasper decide if they want to change it. Have a vote and let the ones that pay your salary a chance to have a say in it.
