The AMERICAN Flag needs to remain on Thunderbird mountain. As a United States Citizen I feel it is my right to stand for what's right and not allow the Government dicate our right.

I was born and raised in Glendale back in the 40s-50s & 60s when I left to join the Marine Corps. All my other brothers except Tony have served and didn't only because of a medical condition. What Tony is doing is continuing our tradition of service to our country, I got one couldn't figure out how to get out and stayed 42 years and active and reserve to retire as a Warrant Officer of Marines. What Tony is doing is fantastic and am hoping that the folks that run Glendale now get their collective heads out of their, well your know what, and let this type of activity happen. As they they say in the Marines, Semper Fidelis, Always Faithful, and Tony certainly is and I am very proud of him.

The flag is being tended to each day and should not be considered trash. It also represents this wonderful country and should never be questioned in terms of its message. It is a state park and should already have a flag that is tended to by the Rangers. We should be proud of our country even with its faults as it is still the country that most others seek to live in or be like. The flag should never offend anyone or they have the option to find another country to take residence in. It is not an object but a symbol of our freedoms.
