It saddens me that Glendale feels the American flag is unlawful and a sight for sore eyes at the top of the mountain. Since when did we become so ashamed of our flag?

I love to see the flags when I am there. This is The United States and that is our flag. Our Military are still fighting under that flag for our freedom. Leave the flags alone.

The best part of our hike weekly is being greeted by the very symbol of our freedom and liberties when we reach the top. Seeing the Stars and Stripes flowing in the wind reminds me of those who gave their lives for me to be able to enjoy a beautiful day on the mountain. Keep the flags flying!!
