The volume of support has now reached a point that forces a formal response from Network Rail. I have requested a direct meeting with their planning department to present our logistical concerns regarding the M4 traffic impact. My next step involves drafting a briefing note for the transport minister to highlight the failure of current contingency planning.

do they have any idea how much traffic 30k people will cause on the m4?? get these trains running its common sense!
Typical. They want us to use public transport but then shut the lines when we actually need them.
my husband and kids are going to this game and its going to be a nightmare getting there. fix the schedule please.
This is ridiculous. How can they plan engineering works on the biggest day of the year for football fans. Absolute madness.
TOTAL JOKE. 500 coaches on the road is just asking for a disaster.

Cmon network rail sort it out. dont leave us all stuck in traffic for hours.
