It would appear that Langdon School has made serious errors in handling the current year 10 students education. Pupils have taken GCSE exams in year 9 and may not get the education or the opportunity to take these exams at the CORRECT age. Further, pupils have a horrendous workload in order to salvage the situation. This will mean children will be disadvantaged, under severe stress and may even have to pick and choose which subjects to prepare for as time is running out. The school seems not to be forthcoming with the information or a plan to rectify the situation as there is an apparent dispute between teachers at the school. Intervention from the governors, local education authority and ministers is needed to quickly resolve issues at the school. If you agree please sign up.
The stress my child is carrying home every single day is becoming impossible to watch. I am hearing similar stories from so many of you and it confirms that our kids are being treated like test scores rather than students.

Watching the groundswell of support for our children is truly overwhelming. It confirms my gut feeling that so many families are feeling this same frustration over the current chaos. Now that we have this momentum I am preparing to bring our collective concerns directly to the local education authority.

Total incompetence from the school management. How can they let it get this bad?

Stop the pressure!! GCSEs are hard enough without changing the goalposts midway through. These poor kids dont stand a chance.

My son is in this year group and he is absolutely exhausted every single night. The school needs to get their act together and stop treating children like test scores.
