I honestly cannot believe how many people are actually talking about this merger now because I really thought it would just be me yelling into the void about the islands. This whole thing feels way more real than when I was just staring at my computer screen wondering if anyone else even noticed the roads or the zoning issues.

about time someone looked at this. ridiculous that we keep splitting resources
DO IT. sick of the potholes and lack of services. maybe if we merged we could actually get something done around here.
seems like a smart move for everyone. im all for it.
Keep Woodstock and Lake View separate. My family has lived here for 30 years and we dont need more city politics interfering.
YES to the annexation!! Love's and Petro bring in so much traffic we need the tax revenue for our roads.

Merging is long overdue. Taxes are way too high for these two towns to be separate entities anyway.
