Lakeview Estates and Martin Oaks are petitioning Putnam County for pavement resurfacing of their streets. A previous commissioner made a promise that while using these neighborhoods as construction access for the Eagles Rest expansion in Cuscowilla, the county would continue to maintain these streets. The pavement on these streets is failing substantially. We are requesting that Lakeview Drive, Lakeview Estates Drive and Lakeview Estates Lane be resurfaced where this construction traffic has damaged the roads expeditiously.

The volume of support from our neighbors has now reached a level that the county office cannot ignore. I have scheduled a formal meeting with the Commissioner for next week to present this petition and demand the repairs promised to us.

The roads were used extensively for all major construction projects. From 6:30am to after 6pm throughout the week and weekends. The earthmovers, all the precast concrete sewer lines, and fresh concrete trucks for the entire construction. We got the county gravel truck spiting rock and tar rather than a stable refinishing. Not what was advertised!
Our neighborhood roads and signs are pathetic. Putnam County was allowed to use our neighborhood to do construction in Cuscowilla. So it didn't ruin their neighborhood roads. Sadly the repairs made just made it worse! Shame
Pave the roads
Roads are the first indicator of how a county takes care of it's own. Enough said!
