The city finally approved the repainting of Lakeshore Road with the new cycling lanes. It has been a long and draining process but we reached the finish line. Keep an eye on the road as the work begins to ensure it happens exactly as promised.
Reaching this level of support feels heavy because it proves how many of us are tired of the status quo on Lakeshore. It has been a long road but I am not stopping now that I know I am not alone in this fight.

Finally someone is doing something about this. So many people want to cycle but are scared to use that road because of the traffic.

I really hope the city listens to us this time. Lakeshore is the main artery and it should be safe for everyone not just people in trucks

Lakeshore is a disaster for bikes right now. Way too many cars flying by way to fast. Need these lanes painted asap.
