The local officials are still ignoring the filth in our water while they pretend everything is fine. I am tired of the excuses and I am currently tracking down every person responsible for this dumping. We are not going away until they actually clean this mess up.

The momentum behind this petition proves that people are finally sick of watching corporations and local officials treat our water like a dump site. We have reached a point where they can no longer pretend this is just a fringe concern. Keep the pressure on until they actually clear the trash out of Lake Ontario.

growing up here we used to go to the beaches all the time now i wouldnt even walk near the sand. miss the lake like it used to be
stop the pollution already. we deserve a clean lake.
CLEAN IT UP. Enough is enough.
The water smells like garbage in the summer. Cant believe we let it get this bad.
Its honestly embarrassing how dirty our waterfront is compared to other cities. Do better.

so much plastic floating around the island area. really sad to see for the wildlife.
