This is heart breaking to read after watching Charlie put in over 30 yrs of hard work and dedication into a job that he took pride in. No matter what was going on Charlie always worked through it and made it happen. He took care of everyone and everything and never complained . When we would visit the club there wasn’t a person that wouldn’t walk by that didn’t know him and speak with a smile on their face and based on the comments above there are many others that agree that Charlie was a huge part of Lake Nona and through all of the changes remained the only constant who wasn’t just an employee who took care of members ....he was FAMILY. Bad decision. Read the comments

Charlie is one of the kindest people I've ever met. My time I worked at Lake Nona Golf and Country Club was more than amazing because of him being there. Whenever you need him he has a habit of just appearing there and was more than ready to assist anyone. I couldn't possibly imagine a Lake Nona without him.

I worked at Lake Nona in the food and beverage department. Charlie always had the member’s best interest at heart and was willing to do whatever it took to service the members. He loves what he does. He was made for that job.

This is crazy! Charlie loves this place as much as we love him. How in the world would anyone want to get rid of an employee that is loved by everyone?

Charlie oversaw Home Services Department, in which, they can still bring in an income from that. It would be helpful to better understand the financial effects on the club budget, and can members do to help support the staff.

Charlie is the life of Lake Nona and firing him was a huge mistake that should be quickly ratified
