Hello, My name is Jason Rosenberry and I was recently appointed to Lake and Grounds Committee along with Ed Zardroga at Lake Gilman. Lake Gilman has been my home my entire life and my highest priority is the safety of its members. Recognizing hazards and removing them before someone gets hurt is very important to me.

Trees are very important to the privacy and feel of Lake Gilman. I love trees but I think the blind spot this particular tree creates may someday result in a horrible vehicle accident. Another tree will be planted in a more suitable location. Please recognized the dangers of site obstruction that we have allowed for too long and sign to have this hazard removed.

Please observe the photo and the hazard that the obstructed visibility presents when a vehicle is moving at speeds upwards of 40mph down this hill.

After we hit our goal Ed Zadroga and I will approach the Gloucester County Highway Division.

Thank you.

Jason Rosenberry

I have witnessed an accident first-hand since moving to Cherry Run Rd that was caused in part to the obstruction this tree is causing. It is so hard to pull out every day, you feel as if you are risking your life as drivers speed down this road constantly.

I visit my parents at the lake and it is true that you cannot see when pulling out from this spot. I would like to think that the cars on the main road were going around 40 mph, but are doing 50 to 60 mph down the hill. Huge trucks are racing past that exit. Even trying to cross the road there to get to other side of the lake properties you are taking your life in your hands. A nice tree planted near Gilman's monument would be nice.

It is ridiculous that a petition must be signed to remove a clear hazard to road safety. If it is not removed now, and there is an accident, the community or county could be sued for negligence in public safety. I support the removal of this obstacle to public safety.

As much as I regret the loss of a tree, safety is more important.

Yes, this is a dangerous obstruction. The traffic is increasing all the time due to nearby development making it even worse than it has been in the past.
