LADWP High Voltage Conduits Over PVS Park Streets Need to be Removed
Temporary High Voltage cables/electrical conduits laid in January 2022 under black rubber speed bumps on 2 Palos Verdes Shores community streets are a safety hazard. LADWP told our manager that these would be replaced by underground utility lines by May 31, 2022. Now, we are told that LADWP has outsourced this project to a vendor but there is no information on the completion date. We need these unsafe speed bumps removed immediately. They have caused damage to cars, golf carts, electric scooters/wheelchairs and bicycles and low riding vehicles cannot enter the community since they can't traverse the humps.

Emergency response vehicles (Fire trucks, ambulances) frequent this "Senior" community. They must come to a complete stop when they encounter these "speed bumps". Time is critical. Please remove/fix ASAP. Thank you.
We have to traverse these dangerous bumps to visit our daughter causing great discomfort to my elderly wife. Not to mention the potential disaster to the PV Shores community if there was a rupture of the high voltage line(s).
I am 94 years of age. I have to go over the High Voltage Conduits twice. I have severe spine problems .
It is 6 months since the outage! That is more then enough time to get this resolved. We live right in front of the bump and it is very noisy every time a vehicle goes over that bump. Vehicles coming and going noise, noise and more noise!! Please prioritize this! If not resolved soon I think DWP should pay for all vehicle/golf cart ..etc repairs due to these bumps!
Former PVS resident who still visits friends there. Have had to get my wheelsaligned because of this thoughtless and unnecessary obstacle.
anyone else feel like this is waaaaaaay overdue???

This has been so dangerous for our Senior Community‼️ If there had been a leak causing a fire from it, we would have been trapped inside these gates‼️ The lower gate does not open for every car and the “flat land” homes would be in big danger‼️ People who have tried to sell their homes are not getting the prices they could due to the streets looking so horrible and needing to be paved‼️ We were told management is waiting for the LADWP to do their work‼️
