the school board just gave us the green light for the lacross co-op and i am honestly stunned. im so thankful for everyone who backed this because it wouldnt have happened without you. we have some logistics to finish up but for now its time to celebrate.

We, the undersigned, call on the Leavitt Area High School school board to allow a female and male Lacrosse team Co/Op with Edward Little High School. The boosters for the Leavitt Lacrosse team intend on fundraising for half of the cost that adding the team will incur for Leavitt Area High School.

I have an incoming freshman that needs sports to keep up with school baseball isn’t enough of an option
I really think we should have lacrosse at leavitt because a lot of boys are missing out and want to play and a lot of schools have it
would love a lax program in turner. i would even donate money to help get it started
It’s not fair to the boys and girls that have dedicated so much time to their sport just to be told they can’t play in highschool
Parent of students at Leavitt and TES and I feel offering a wide array of sports is so important for the mental health and social well being of our children!
Let’s bring this sport to life! All kids need something, someone, to be a part of a team, move their bodies and grow in their esteem. Variety meets Opportunity!!

If some sports are allowed to be combined with Edward Little than all sports should be allowed to. Sounds like discrimination??
