Monday 9th January 2012 The girls that where in that morning were told not to open the doors because the shop was now closed. A large group of people came into the shop and proceeded to pack up all the stock. We were told to help them still unaware of what was happening all we were told is that a truck was coming at 6pm to collect the stock. We waited for hours to be given any written confirmation of closure,wages or redundency payment. At ten to 6 (when the company was sure all the work was done) we were sent an email that basically said we no longer La Senza employees and that we were not going to recieve our wages for December or January or any overtime and that KPMG are sending us out forms to fill out so we can apply to the government to recieve a section of our wage. LA SENZA WERE DISHONEST AND CRUEL OUR STAFF WORKED ALL THROUGH CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEARS AND NEW YEARS FOR NOTHING!?.....LA SENZA EXPECTED TO CUT AND RUN WITHOUT PAYING US AND HAVE ASKED US TO CLAIM THE MONEY THEY OWE US FROM THE IRISH TAX PAYER! THIS IS WHY THE (FORMER) EMPLOYEES OF LA SENZA HAVE DECIDED WE ARE NOT GOING TO BE TREATED THIS WAY AND WE ARE HAVING A SIT IN PROTEST AT OUR LIFFEY VALLEY BRANCH PLEASE SUPPORT US ON FACEBOOK OR HEAD DOWN TO US AND SIGN OUR PETITION!!!XX
