Whereas the federal government has not fulfilled it responsibilities in securing the borders; Whereas the federal government has not adopted comprehensive immigration reform legislation that eliminates chain-immigration and birth-right citizenship; Whereas illegal immigration has contributed greatly to the budget shortfall in Arizona, as well as most states; Therefore, the Arizona state legislature adopted a bill that mirrors federal immigration law and made enforcement of that law a law enforcement priority; Whereas nothing therein requires a scintilla of racial profiling and the question of immigration status will only come into play in the course of routine law enforcement contact; Whereas the city councils of San Francisco, San Diego and Los Angeles have taken action to boycott Arizona over this law; Whereas those city councils have neglected the business of their own cities; witness their own financial plight invariably exacerbated by illegal immigration; We the undersigned do pledge to boycott the cities of Los Angeles, San Diego and San Francisco until such time that these cities revoke their ill-conceived boycott of Arizona.
