I really thought this might just float around in the void for a bit but the momentum is actually startling and honestly it makes me feel like maybe they can't just ignore us after all. It is wild how many people just showed up out of nowhere to say no to this because the idea of someone else just taking over our schools without even asking is so wrong (like, obviously) and seeing everyone agree on that is just a huge relief.

This is ridiculous. Leave our schools alone and let the local community decide what is best for our keiki. We dont need some outside entity taking control.
STOP THIS. My kids are in immersion and we have worked way too hard for this to be ruined by some disconnected bill. Not cool.
Really upset by this. Why does the government think they can just ignore the parents and teachers? We need to keep a say in how our education system is run.
Unbelievable. They want to strip all community input? Hands off our schools.
The people actually living here know what we need. Why are they trying to bypass all our input? Totally wrong.

NO WAY. Keep the control local. This is about our culture and our kids.
