We the undersigned support the passage of the New Hampshire HB 1403 which would end the governing structure of the International Baccalaureate Organization in New Hampshire schools.

1) No foreign organization in partnership with a global political organization should be collecting private data on New Hampshire students.

2) The International Baccalaureate Organization should not be governing New Hampshire local public schools by mandating schools follow the mission statement of the IBO. The IBO is an NGO of the United Nations. (example: teachers could be investigated by the IBO for "improper conduct" which could mean something as benign as giving extra time on an exam)

3) No parent should be required to settle disputes under Swiss law: IB requires that "any dispute arising from or in connection with the Rules for IB World Schools shall be finally settled by one arbitrator in accordance with the Swiss Rules of International Arbitration of the Swiss Chambers of Commerce. The seat of the arbitration shall be Geneva, Switzerland."

4) Students in New Hampshire should receive a quality education without foreign political influence from a political special interest group. For these reasons we support HB 1403 which will establish a "Study Committee" and remove the foreign organization's governing power. This will return local control to the local community where it belongs.

im spending my nights reading the concerns you guys are leaving in the comments and it honestly makes me even more sure that we need to keep pushing for hb 1403. keeping control of our schools local is just common sense and i am working on getting our points in front of the right people at the state house.

it is wild to see how many folks are jumping on board to protect local control in our schools. honestly the momentum is incredible and it shows clearly how ready everyone is to get this passed.

I have been attending school board meetings for almost a year and the people of the school district don't have a clue as to what is really happening in the schools. I hope they wake up!

GET IT OUT. None of this belongs in our tax funded classrooms at all.

My daughter came home with such weird stuff last year and now it finally makes sense. No more foreign agendas in my town.

Why are our kids answering to people in Switzerland. This is New Hampshire not Europe.

Local control is all we want. Leave the UN out of my school district.

It is utter insanity that this should even come before us!
