We the undersigned Kansas State University students do not support the construction of the parking garage. We feel that the university needs to provide and advocate alternative forms of transportation such as: expanding the limited KSU shuttle system, increasing the number of bicycle lanes and racks to encourage bicycle transportation, initiating bike-lending, car pooling and car sharing programs, etc. in order to alleviate parking congestion in a more economically and environmentally sustainable way.
