There is a principal at IS 27 named Tracy Kornish in Staten Island has consistently refused on numerous requests and occasions to release a child’s work to their parent over the past few years. She has even "lost" portfolio work from 6th and 7th grade which she refused to release the the parents at the end of the school year. This is unacceptable. Please sign this petition that the child’s records and portfolio records be released to the parent immediately without delay so a parent can help her child get the support needed for tutorial purposes.

This is absurd. How can a school just lose a kids work like that? A parent has every right to see what their kid is doing in class.

Ridiculous. If the child needs extra help they need those records asap. Stop playing games with a childs education.
