Paul Fournet Field it is the only thing to do, anyone who live and grew up in Lafayette know what Paul did for so many of us in avaition. Try taking your son or grandson to the airport to day. IT IS ON LOCK DOWN you can not even go look at the airplanes, where is the next generation of avators to come from.

After well over 40 years of flying at the LFT Airport, I think it would be a wonderful honor to bestow "Paul Fournet Field" onto the Lafayette Airport.

The best years of my life was when i was working with my family and friends at PFAS...such a well deserved honor for my uncle Paul...he was an inspiration for so many..miss him dearly, as well as my father, Tom, who ran the charter dept...

Paul " Chief" Fournet was one of the finest men I had the honor of knowing. There are a lot of pilots that owe their carreer to Chief. Do the right thing Lafayette, don't get caught up in the airport commissions BS.

Our branch of the family grew up in Kinder, LA, near Lake Charles and while gowing up, we all were aware of what Paul had accomplished in his life and the services he provided to our country and southwest LA. I feel it would be fitting to have his name as part of the Lafayette Regional Airport, for those reasons.
