I used to fly out of Fournet on a seaplane when I worked in the oilfield.

I got my start in Aviation at PFAS in 1969 as a Mechanics right out of High School, I have been an Aircraft Mechanic since 1971.

Mr. Paul was a pioneer of aviation in Lafayette. He was also a wonderful person. While he would never have sought out such recognition, he is certainly deserving of it.

It would be most appropriate to add Paul Fournet Field to the airport. Please do so.

A deserving tribute to a WWII veteran and pioneer in Lafayette's aviation history.

It would be a real shame not to do so after the contribution Paul gave not only this community but also Aviation.

I was an employee of Paul Fournet Air Service during the early 1970's. His business did a lot for aviation there.
