Paul interviewed me for my first mechanic position, I will never forget him and Lafayette should also remember him for all he accomplished in his life and for all he did for aviation and the Lafayette area.
I learned to fly at PFAS. What an exceptional man he was. I still fly today, thanks to Chief.

I met Mr. Paul in the sixties. He helped my mother obtain a much needed wheelchair and installed her hand control for her. She could not pay for either. He would not let her repay him.

I got my Private Pilot's :License at Fornet's as part of the ROTC Flight Program at USL in 1968. That lead to an USAF career, folowed by an airline career!!
