I honestly cannot believe I am typing this but the incinerator proposal is officially dead and gone. It feels surreal after all the stress of those midweek meetings that left so many of us sidelined. I think we should keep a close eye on the council just to be safe …

The King's Lynn Incinerator Public Inquiry - Initial meeting is being held on Wednesday 28th November 2012, 10am at Lynn Sport.

A number of people have raised concerns that as this is happening midweek, they cannot get time off and they feel their voices won't be heard.

By signing this petition you will show you are against the Incinerator and would have attended in the event the meeting wasn't held midweek.

I have been reading through all the messages coming in from people who cannot make it to Lynn Sport and the frustration is just pouring out of my screen. It feels like they really want us to just go away because the timing makes it impossible for most regular working folks to actually show up in person. I am currently reaching out to a few people to see if we can get these concerns documented officially before the room fills up with suits.

Why is it always mid-week mornings? They clearly dont want us there. NOT IN OUR BACKYARD.

Keep our air clean. My kids go to school round here and I am worried about the health risks.

Stop the incinerator now. King's Lynn has enough pollution already. Keep it out of our backyard.

Ridiculous to hold this during the work day when most people have jobs. We dont want this in our town.
