The owner of MP Haulage 'Jason Macneal' is the new sponsor of Lancaster City FC. This man has a conviction for racially aggravated assault. This attack was a horrific act of violence, resulting in his victim to be hospitalized and leaving him to be physically and mentally scared for life. LCFC are members of 'Lets Kick Racism out of Football', the club are aware of this man's conviction but have stated that this is not an issue. Many people are very disturbed by this response from LCFC and feel it should not be allowed to persist given the ferocity of this motiveless violent attack, and the use of German invectives. The sponsorship deal and the message this sends out to the wider community and to the football supporters that someone with a record of racism and violence, is welcomed with open arms and endorsed by the club. Failures and the lack of support are tearing our communities apart and we as the people of Great Briton black, white or whatever colour feel considerably let down by the people who represent us. LCFC HAVE A MORAL OBLIGATION TO DISTANCE THEMSELVES FROM THIS VIOLENT RACIST, SO PLEASE DO NOT TURN A BLIND EYE TO THIS.
