The manufacturers finally listened and are pushing out the security updates we demanded to lock down those vulnerable ports. I can finally sleep without worrying that my driveway will be empty by morning. Thank you for helping me secure these vehicles.

I have been hearing from so many of you who woke up to find an empty driveway where your car used to be. It is heartbreaking to realize how easily these vehicles are taken because of this specific vulnerability in the technology. I am currently gathering these reports to present a clear picture of the problem to the manufacturers.

Seeing this momentum grow reminds me of the nights I spent worrying about my own driveway since my car was taken. This level of backing proves that I am not the only one living in fear of these security flaws. We are moving toward real accountability for these manufacturers.

I will be buying the next Focus RS when launched, however if this issue hasn't been resolved then I'm off to VW to buy the Golf R. Sort I out Ford! Nobody wants a car that you have to sleep inside through fear of it being stolen. It's a 30K car, we expect more from you! Not least acknowledgement that you have a serious problem with your cars and one that US the owners are paying the price for!
It is Disgraceful to spend so much on my dream car and to find out how easy there being stolen via the OBD port , scared to take it out in view as there has been 3 stollen in my area in the last month
Having been in the situation where my Ford Focus RS got stloen last March from my drive with no keys, I am hoping Ford will do the right thing for all of us owners and do something to STOP this happening to others, The aftermath is not nice knowing someone has voilated your personal belongings, thinking its ok to take!
I have always had Fords and never had any issues but I am deeply shocked that Ford Motor Company, in there words "are not aware of the obd port thefts against the Mk2 Focus ST or Mk Focus RS". I was going to purchase the new Fiesta ST but I have been put off with the lack of response to any of the concerned owns!
theft will always happen but not and easy as this I think some sort of code should be entered on IDS that is generated from FMC but some action is needed to help crack down on these kind of thefts
This needs to get sorted by the main dealers to many cars going missing an never being found! its a joke keyless car's were ment to make it harder to steal! If anything it's quicker an easier now!
The number of cars being broken into is a joke. I have a number of friends who have either had their FORD stolen, broken into without force or know someone who has had their FORD stolen. Motor traders need toget a grip and take action before people decide to avoid purchasing on of their cars due to the high possibility of theft.

This is a serious problem with Ford RS and ST models, that needs addressing. It's a known security flaw and it needs to be fixed ASAP.
