We the signatories of this petition want Transport Scotland to remove the traffic lights situated at the South end of the Kessock Bridge because there is no requirement for them, they interrupt the free flow of traffic in all directions, they cause tailbacks and congestion and their siting at this location was a mistake. Allied to the foregoing, the sequencing of the lights is flawed and is so set up that many near miss collisions happen several times per day. Listen to those who know best and that is those who use this roundabout junction regularly and have experienced the many flaws and faults with the current system.

The whole point of a roundabout is that it permits free-flow of traffic based on prioritised access. Why mess with that? If rush-hour volume causes problems use the lights then as happens at the Raigmore Interchange.

The traffic flows so much easier without the traffic lights as I seen it last week when the traffic lights were not working. No traffic build up at all. This morning I waited 15minutes in traffic to reach my work. Please remove these Traffic lights.

it has been proven that the traffic flows better when the lights are off, the roundabout is too small for lights and the sequence doesn't help. Remove the lights and put the slip road heading into inverness back in as this also helped the traffic flow going into the longman.

Working for Scotland's largest railway company i have the pleasure (sic) of being hindered by these lights at anything from 4am thru to 2am the next day. Insane sat at a red light at 2am with not a single vehicle is sight. Not even psycho taxis..

These lights are a serious road hazard and increase the likelihood of traffic accidents occurring. By all means turn them on for events at ICT stadium but turn them off at other times to increase traffic through flow.

These Traffic lights are a joke. The amount of times I've been coming south into Inverness and been stuck on the roundabout waiting to turn onto longman road, but the queue from the traffic coming from the south has blocked the entire roundabout for anyone wanting to turn.

Just really tired of this nonsense caused by so called safety! Fore ever tail backs when SIMPLE roundabout procedure has and will work again.
