The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is known for many things, but visual design may not be among them. As a result, Kentucky\'s license plates have never been widely applauded for their aesthetic beauty. Luckily, the Cabinet will produce and offer specialty license plates in other designs if more than 900 motorists request it.
