The city reversed their decision and Proctor Plaza Community Center will remain open. It has been a long road but I am relieved that our neighborhood space is secure. We need to stay watchful to ensure they keep their word.

Reaching this point has been exhausting but seeing this level of momentum proves that this community center is worth the fight. I am tired of the uncertainty yet I feel a renewed push to ensure our neighborhood keeps its heart.

This place is a staple for the neighborhood. So many of us rely on the restrooms and staff being there. Do not close proctor plaza
My kids go here all the time. Leave it open!
Ridiculous that they would even consider shutting this down. Just keep the lights on.

my kids have been going to programs here for years. we really need this spot to stay open please
