Although Hoboken is sitting on a $20 million surplus, Mayor Dawn Zimmer is still determined to go through with her plan to eliminate 37 jobs in the police department, including laying-off 18 young officers!
Sign the petition today and tell Mayor Zimmer and the City Council to stop the police lay-offs!
The petition reached 500 signatures this morning. I am finalizing a formal letter to the City Council that details the impact of these layoffs. I expect to deliver this document to municipal offices by the end of the week.

Crime goes up while they pay for fancy projects. Protect the tax payers and stop the cuts.
