The volume of support has now reached a point that demands formal acknowledgement from the university administration. I am currently drafting a letter to the campus facilities board to request a meeting regarding the naming plans. We intend to present the full list of signees as evidence that the historical identity of this site holds significant value.

The uni is wasting money on new signs when they could be fixing actual problems. Keep the name.

Ridiculous to change it now. Everyone knows it as Birks. Stop changing things just for the sake of it.
Loved my time at birks. dont change it please it brings back such good memories of my first year
lived there in 2012 and it was the best year of uni. leave the name alone its part of the history.

My brother and I both stayed there and it would be a shame to lose the name. It felt like home to so many of us.
