This is the radio station that believed in me when no other station would ( or currently is ). UCT Radio is where I started my broadcasting career ... And this station has done wonders in terms of a voice for the people who need to be heard the most ... So please ... Keep UCT Radio live and on air ... This station is creating the future in radio broadcasters ... Myself included ....

It would be a shame if UCT Radio could lose their licence as I was given my first shot of radio at this Station, the like of DJ Lloyd, Diddy Bongz, Thibo Tazz and many more that have started at this station

SAVE UCT RADIO! BRING BACK THE LICENCE!
More than just a station, that studio was a HOME to me and many others - incubating many amazing talent in the business, media and marketing industry. I myself ignited my passion for voice overs and voice acting behind the nurturing doors of UCT Radio who were responsible for helping me launch a very successful freelance venture as a voice actor after graduating which helped me sustain myself while job hunting.
I say this not to boast, but to emphasise how the experience at UCT Radio created so many opportunities for me which continue to afford me the lifestyle I enjoy. I am who I am because of them, but also, so are many others in various walks of life. Because the station really forms the heartbeat of the campus - championing student issues and helping inform, entertain and mobilise masses to action.
Please don't let such an incredible force for change in people's lives, simply be forgotten.
