Well for me as a student uct radio is not just a radio, it's home, it's a safe space for me to vent and Express how I feel. I am a first year student and I won't lie transition has been hard for me but the content covered at radio helped me a lot because I was able to listen to different people's point of views from their experiences and through all this communication I was able to secure myself some advice and lessons. So am I desperate for UCT radio not close? YES I am, because what uct radio has created is beyond the name, it has created networks, friendships and families.

I got more of an education at UCTRadio then I did at UCT. It would be a shame if future students could not have the opportunity to learn and grow under UCT Radio guidance in the years to come.

UCT Radio gave my career in audio production a kickstart - Had a psytrance radio show there with Damien Morrison YONKS ago - I have now been in audio for 16 years. Also - UCT Radio helps our learners we teach at Sound 4 You (www.facebook.com/soundfouru) - they've given them radio shows and taught them to be dj's. They've inspired these teenagers from all over Cape Town!!! Thank you UCT Radio !! The show MUST GO ON!!
