I agree with all the comments the uniform is perfect the way it is and should not be changed.

I would like to see the uniform left as it is currently, they look fine to me and are very practical

I take no pleasure saying this but Im disgusted by Miss Murrays attitude and lies in relation to the uniform. We were told by Miss Murray that her position would be called into question if an inspector seen the children in tracksuits??? The Children are happy and comfortable and the parents clearly want to keep it so why change and cause all this unrest. Now our children are being told they wont get their results unless they send in a stamped, addressed envelope. Horrible, selfish attitude thats borderline bullying.

It will be another few years before my kids are at the school but when they do go I'd like them to be comfy & warm and for me to have no shirts to iron haha

Activities and the Tony Lawlor cup are a big ritual and tradition in the kilmac school how are the children suppose to participate in these every day if they are only wearing tracksuit on PE days? Don't fix what's not broken!!

I had both the pinafore and tracksuit during my school years. I always opted for the tracksuit as it was much comfier and kept me warm in the winter months. I don’t see why it needs to be changed!!

It's cold for most of the school year. Tracksuits really helped my child keep warm. She often complained of the cold wearing the shirt and cardigan.

Why change something that has worked so well for so long. It seems like the goodwill in the school is being eroded by this issue

This seems like a needless expense for no good reason.

Children look smart in the outfits they are wearing and the most important thing is they all look very happy

The kids will be in uniforms long enough. Let kids be kids.

What is best for the children should be the most important thing.

I see the children are comfortable and warm in the tracksuits and more suited to exercise and fitness which should be encouraged surely there are more pressing issues to deal with at Kilmac. NS.
