Keep Toddlers Safe! Say NO to Reckless Proposal for Childcare at DANGEROUS Intersection!

Harney Road is already a dangerous intersection, and adding a childcare facility here would endanger both neighborhood residents and the children. Please prioritize community safety and reject this application.

This is a residential community with no other commercial properties. The neighborhood and this particular intersection is not zoned appropriately for a daycare. There are plenty of alternative options for daycare within walking distance to this location.

I am opposed to this day care center proposal.

I strongly oppose this proposal. It's already a dangerous intersection with cars and pedestrians particularly during commuting hours which is when drop offs and pick ups would be happening.

That area of 32 Harney Road is dangerous for everyone & especially for the young children.

Dangerous intersection for a daycare

I cannot possibly imagine adding 15 families dropping off and picking up young children at this location during the morning and evening rush hours. Traffic is already regularly backed up through this intersection from the Bronx River Parkway, making it difficult for the people who live here to safely exit and enter our own neighborhood. Clearly the owners do not understand (nor do they seem to care about) the implications of what they're proposing.

This would have a negative effect on the neighborhood. It will create an unsafe traffic & pedestrian problem at the location.
