It's a disgrace the council has even impose this have they know discretion, where would the rather the dog/dogs end up in the shelter, some strangers hands. Are they willing to give up one of their kids because there's too many cos that's how people see their dogs/animals as valued family members. when these dogs are being looked after housed fed loved I don't see what the problem is.

Please let these people keep their dogs. If the dogs are put somewhere else they are not going to understand why they have lost their humans. As long as everything is clean and tidy and not a health hazard to others please let the aging dogs stay. Ultimately they will pass away but let them stay with their loving owners because the dogs will not understand why they have been taken away. They will probably fret themselves to death.

Hume city council this is ridiculous.
These dogs are fed and well looked after, as long as they pay their registration I don't see what the harm is?

Unbelievably cruel and heartless. Shame on you Hume Council. Think about both the family of dogs, and also the poor Watkins family who have only done the right thing by saving 2 dogs from being euthanised and instead are in a happy home and family
