Come on! The owners have tried to do the right thing by these dogs all along. They look well looked after and are all elderly. Have some compassion Hume Council and allow these dogs to live their lives out where they are. Why not put your resources into helping some of the poor animals that are being mistreated.

These dogs are all healthy & being well looked after. Couldn't a special permit be made so that once the older dogs do pass over, then only 4 be allowed on the property. Here are people that care--- easy targets--- should be using time to help those animals being mistreated.

Hume council are grubs! Not at all in touch with their constituents!!! Tell them to concentrate shutting down the back yard breeders and puppy farmers right under their noses! Idiots!

These dogs SHOULD NOT be seperated. If these dogs are all registered through council, and there are to many, council should have picked up on this at the get go.... not 10 years later. Compassion and exception to the rule should be given in this case with council improving their own processes when registration is paid so a repeat cannot occur if this is such a big deal to them. Seriously council, focus on the bigger issues by improving the services to your ratepayers and community. Have a heart

This pack are elderly and would pine for the others if separated. I have 3 dogs who have always been together and I can only imagine the anguish the humans in this pack are feeling. The council need to show some compassion.

Unless the dogs have been deemed a pest, they should be allowed to live out their final years with this family. Lifespan of a Samoyed is around 12 years so not long. Rehoming a sick and elderly dog very difficult. Please bend the rules.

Rather than demand the owners give up a beloved family member, why not just allow the current dogs to stay and not approve any further as the current dogs cross the rainbow bridge.

They obviously look well looked after, councils are euthanizing animals every day you want to take older happy well looked after and loved pets from a beautiful family So Sad . Have some compassion.
