Keep this family together!

Please show some common sense and compassion and let these dogs stay together in their later years.

Come on Hume council don't be so heartless just because you can. Feel good about yourselves and allow these dogs to live out the rest of their lives as a family. Let us applaud you for being nice, compassionate and caring to all who live in Hume.

The dogs are part of the family, they need to stay!

Heartless and without basis enforcing this. Other than having 2 more I can’t see what grounds. They are not hurting anyone and are old.

Ridiculous rule. They should be allowed to keep the dogs. They will stress and fret and it’s just not fair on anyone except the idiot That made the stupid rule. Let me rip him from his family and see how he likes that!

It would seem the dogs are being more than looked after especially with monthly vet visits. Some are older and may not live for many more years. If the dogs were not being looked after then I could see some issue. Maybe the council could be more concerned about animals not being looked after or any puppy farms.

If the Council makes this law they should grandfather it and allow this family to stay together.

Show a little compassion. They didn't intentionally get 6 dogs and all the dogs look well cared for and loved.

Well looked after, on adequate land (not a shoebox unit) and in their twilight years. Back off Hume council and let them be.

These dogs are ageing, they have loving homes and are well looked after. What’s going to happen to them if they’re taken away?!

For Gods sake. Let the dogs be. Organise 3 monthly checks, fine them for unregistered dogs. Don’t let them breed any more. But don’t make them leave the family. They are too old and unwell. Our rates cost more dollars every year and council does nothing with that money except have long lunches. Just let this one pass have some compassion
