Do not break them up! They are in a safe and happy home, where they are looked after!

Seems totally unfair, its not as if these ageing dogs are being used for breeding which seems to be the intent of the legislation. I know this is a local council, but try having a heart.

These dogs will not find a better home. I know these people they deserve them to stay with them. Leave them alone.

Samoyeds are family. The thought of taking away two family members after they have spent almost their entire lifetime together, how utterly heart breaking. I hope someone takes a good hard look at themselves and straightens up their priorities quick smart, because this is cruel and unfair.

Keep this family together

This seems to be a case of council exerting power and restrictions in a situation requiring compassion and big picture thinking. If something is wrong with the scenario give the family a measure of leeway to make it right. There can be no possible reason for council to act in such an adversarial manner. Trump is not the role model to follow. Families belong together.

How awful to separate such gorgeous dogs

Don't be so heartless. Let them keep all of the dogs together.

These dogs are old. Wait until they pass away, and tell the people they are limited to four. It is cruel to both the owner and the dogs to remove them at this point in their lives.

How do they expect them to decide which 2 get put down? How utterly insensitive of the council. Must be dog haters.

Yet some can have 6 kids or more and be far less responsible as these people are with their fur babies !! I have ferals spray painting my fence in the middle of the night smashing car windows . I’d rather live next to these well trained beautiful babies any day. Have a heart Hume council. Absolutely horrendous to want to do this to those much loved pets

A cringingly embarassing demonstration of this council's utter incapacity for dynamic thought, or lateral problem-solving. The age of these senior dogs immediately places them in the 'difficult to adopt' category. And in the subesquent hands of the council pound - or any shelter - they are more than likely to be euthanised. And for what viable reason? Because the council was incapable of thinking outside of itself. This is an emphatic demonstration of council ineptitude.

These dogs are happy and healthy. meet them be.

Why?

What is the matter with people that can't understand that these fur babies are FAMILY. Why can't you just renew the permit?

These beautiful animals are seniors placed in a loving home. As long as they are being well taken care of they should be allowed to live out their last years in their home. The Council needs to show some compassion here
