Keep this family together!

My heart is breaking for this family. Can only hope this ridiculous, cruel, unwarranted rule can be abolished.

Seriously we’re worried about how many pets people have! At least they’re willing to take care of them not like some folks.

Compassion!!! Very well looked after dogs, there are far worse things that Council should be concerned with.

As a mother of two ageing Samoyeds, I strongly petition this family stay together! Samoyeds are closely bonded to their families and to separate them will cause psychological and emotional damage to both parties. This is cruel and unnecessary! Give a dog a bone! No crime has been committed here. Be kind and keep this family together. They are doing you no harm!

As a resident of Hume I appeal to the Council to show some leniency with these owners. At the very least give them at least 3 months to make provision for 2 of their dogs. PLEASE

What is Hume Council gaining from such a heartless decision! I believe there are more important issues Hume Council should be spending time and money on!

These dogs are old, they will be traumatized being separated. They look well cared for and loved. The council need to have some flexibility when faced with the facts. These animals are not neglected as sometimes happens with too many dogs. Have a heart.

Please let theses dogs stay in their home. Their owners seem like responsible and loving people that just want to keep the family together and let two ageing dogs live out the rest of their lives in peace.

Leave this family of dogs together, if you take them away they will be so sad & fret away from there family. They are happy & well taken care of, so let them live the rest of there life’s out happy

I definitely want this family to keep their fur family! Do councils honestly have nothing better to do?! What a disgrace

There are people who abuse their dogs and the council does Nothing! What they have is a ridiculous law!!! As long as they are not causing any problem why are they being so heartless! The council is to work to support the public and their well being!

Dogs are family and are for life! If the dogs are well cared for why would you split them up at such an age, it will kill them. Maybe if someone has 6 children they need to give 2 up!! Show some compassion for once.

Please allow these elderly dogs to remain together. Please allow compassion in this exceptional case and allow a permit to remain together. These dogs are not a nuisance to neighbours or community

Dogs are family and families stay together.
