Sad and unfortunate news hit our community. A long time cafe is closing it's doors. With all the memories that it has accounted for over the years the community does not want to see it closed.

I spent all morning reading through the comments and honestly it feels like everyone has a story about a specific table or a cup of coffee that changed their day. It is wild how a single building can hold so much history but I am still trying to figure out who exactly has the final say on the lease terms because the phone lines at the office keep going straight to voicemail.

I was just looking at the count and realized we are hovering right near that big two hundred fifty mark which feels like a real turning point for us (honestly I have been staring at the screen for an hour). If everyone who has already signed could just get one other person from the neighborhood to jump on board right now we would blast right past that goal before the cafe owners even know what hit them.

I was just looking at the count and we are almost at a hundred which is honestly wild because I still remember my first cup of coffee there. If everyone seeing this could just tell a neighbor or text a friend we might actually hit that mark before the end of the day.

Love the Wagon Wheel. Love taking my mother there and playing the jukebox. Can't someone help him out during his illness? I could donate a few hours. How about someone else cooking and he can be the door greeter. Best Wishes for a speedy recovery Kevin.
Would hate to see this place close! My father Ted Wilcox and niece Cortnee DePoppe who are featured in your new book will be soo disappointed as well...its our family favorite. Kevin, if you need any kitchen help, I'm willing!!! I have my safe-serve and would love helping keep The Wagon Wheel doors open for many many more generations to enjoy!!!
Please dont close I used to go here with my brother who was murdered. Some of my greatest memories with him include wagon wheel.
I've been going her since I was little. My whole family goes there regularly still to this day. My mom passed away and she went there every single day. Wagon wheel can't close... Please...
Please leave the wagon wheel open. I ate there with my father every weekend. Now I bring my children there and they love it.
Only place I will eat pancakes with the best syrup
But if kevin ain't cookin' and those nice servers ain't servin' well darn it. will never be the same I guess.. always thought I could come back there when visiting. #Scott Sandvig #savewagonwheel
