It's dumb whoever wanted to remove the mascot anyways. South Spencer has never had a problem with racism. Go REBELS!

Keep the mascot! Majority want it kept only those with idea to remove it have no knowledge of why we picked it in the first place!

Graduated in 76 grew up with rebel pride and my kids did also. It would be disappointing to loose our little rebel mascot

As the first openly gay guy to go through SSHS I can say this isn't about racism ir hate. It was a symbol of pride in ourselfs, and gave us all a reason to not give up ( in sports and the like) so that everyone would know that the Rebels were the best. Long live Rebel Man
