As a D.C. Ranch homeowner and Scottsdale resident, I'm offended that this is even under consideration. I'm not happy about Scottsdale property being given away to a private entity and am disgusted that the city council would work act unethically in ignoring the deed restriction. I would support a recall of any city council person who supports this property grab.

This space was intended as a public space and it absolute should remain as such.

The land should be for public use, not private use.

The project does not fit the area. We oppose the land being used for this project.

A sports facility with preferred use rights to a private entity is inappropriate and unintended use of this designated park land.

I'm a current D.C. Ranch resident and have live in Manor/Park homes since 2007. This subject are should remain an all public area with deeded restrictions. Residents over corporate entities.

I want Scottsdale City Council to NOT approve Res. 10770 as the property is supposed to be maintained as a public park, not to be developed by Great Hearts Academy for their purposes. It goes against the original purpose for this land.

This land is for park use only not a sports complex.

The park needs to match up with current D.C. Ranch standards for parks.

DO NOT support Great Hearts and their endeavors. They claim to be a "prestigious" highly academic school but SAT test results show otherwise. They have to build a strong athletic program because they cannot sustain enrollment on academics alone and they happy to use OUR tax dollars to retain THEIR students. Want more reasons not to support Great Hearts? (1) The ACLU Urges AGAINST Scottsdale Partnering With Great Hearts Academies On Park http://kjzz.org/content/463466/aclu-urges-against-scottsdale-partnering-great-hearts-academies-park (2) Scottsdale Prep had a civil liberties complaint against them last year regarding a student's 504 plan and are already on probation with the Board of Education. Ref: United States Department of Education Office for Civil Rights. Case No. 08-15-1327 There's power in numbers, show up at the next Scottsdale City Council Meeting to voice your opposition.

This is DC Ranch land deeded to Scottsdale for a specific purpose, a public park. An exclusive use sports complex for a school is not a public park.

Please use this property for its intended use I feel that it is unethical for the Scottsdale City Council to allow a private entity to develop this land for private profit or exclusive use when the land was donated for a specific use for the great good of the community.

Please uphold the deed restrictions that were put in place when the park was gifted to the City.

We own property in Scottsdale and live SUSD and seeing a charter like great hearts use our public space for private use would be shameful.
